MSALABS is an experienced global provider of geochemical laboratory services to the exploration and mining industries in Canada, the USA and around the world. We have a rapidly growing network of laboratories in key mining regions around the world to limit lead times and transit costs and we employ the latest hi-tech analysis equipment.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail orientated self-starter who has the following skills and experience:

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Logistics procedures in accordance with documented SOP's or recognized standard reference methods.
  • Report any deviation from documented procedures to the Logistics Supervisor.
  • Inform the Logistics Supervisor of any nonconforming event related to client samples, or other departmental operations.
  • Inform the Logistics Supervisor of any unsafe conditions within the department.
  • Follow all HSE protocols.
  • Act in a safe and professional manner and wear appropriate attire including the required personal protective equipment.
  • Ensure proper functioning of Logistics operations by monitoring the performance of the equipment, ensuring adequate inventory of supplies, and practicing good housekeeping.
  • Communicate general laboratory issues to the Logistics Supervisor as appropriate.
  • Some lifting is required, up to 50lbs.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English.
  • Detail oriented and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years' experience in logistics at a commercial lab or equivalent.
  • Must be fit and able to perform the inherent requirements of the job.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Logistics: 1 year (preferred)
