Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MillTurn Machinist or TurnMill Multi-Axis Setup Operator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating mill-turn machines with multiple spindles and turrets, performing complex machining operations on various materials. The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-axis machining, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

    • Set up and operate mill-turn machines with multiple spindles and turrets
    • Perform complex machining operations, including turning, milling, drilling, and tapping
    • Work with various materials, such as steel, aluminum, and copper
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and CAD files
    • Conduct precision measurements and inspections
    • Troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes
    • Collaborate with colleagues to meet production goals and deadlines
    • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience as a Mill-turn Machinist or Turn Mill Multi-Axis Setup Operator
    • Experience with mill-turn machines, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting
    • Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and safety protocols
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in machining or a related field is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour
