Job Title: Family Care Specialist (Nanny)Location: Cochrane, Alberta/Sunset RidgeEmployment Type: Full-timeCompensation: ($17.00/hour for 30 to 50 hrs a week)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a responsible, reliable, and nurturing Family Care Specialist (Nanny) to provide quality care for our 3 year old and assist with household management. The ideal candidate will create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for the children while maintaining an organized and well-functioning home.

Responsibilities:

Childcare Duties:

  • Provide attentive and loving care for three children.
  • Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to foster learning and development.
  • Assist with morning and bedtime routines.
  • Supervise and facilitate playtime, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
  • Support with homework and educational activities.
  • Teach and encourage good manners, hygiene, and self-care habits.

Household Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized home environment.
  • Perform daily household chores, including laundry, dishwashing, and tidying common areas.
  • Grocery shopping and meal preparation as needed.
  • Manage household supplies and restock when necessary.
  • Assist with organizing children's belongings and maintaining their rooms.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children in a professional setting preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Reliable, responsible, and proactive.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow household routines.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a busy family environment.
  • Must be comfortable with pets.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.

Schedule & Availability:

  • Typical Hours are Tuesday - Thursday 6:45 am - 4:45 pm and some occasional Mondays/Friday's.
