The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the Dartmouth facility. Beyond day-to-day oversight, this role carries a mandate to reimagine, redesign, and restructure the plant's operations, systems, and culture to fuel the next phase of Truefoam's grow
th.
As the central catalyst for strategic transformation, the Plant Manager will drive operational excellence, raise performance standards, and foster a culture rooted in accountability and continuous improvement. Operational Leadership: Direct and lead all daily production activities, ensuring output consistently meets safety, quality, and efficiency stand
- ards.Planning & Resource Management: Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet demanding customer needs while strategically optimizing labour, materials, and equip
- ment.Financial Stewardship: Manage plant budgets (including maintenance, labour, and materials) and develop thoughtful capital expenditure and expansion propo
- sals.Safety & Compliance: Champion a best-in-class safety culture and ensure rigorous compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and occupational health and safety stand
- ards.Quality Assurance: Partner closely with the Quality Assurance team to uphold high product standards, quickly resolve non-conformances, and maintain Truefoam's reputation for qua
- lity.Organizational Change & Process Re-Engineering: Serve as the internal consultant and leader for systemic process re-engineering efforts. Lead the implementation of Lean/Six Sigma principles not just for incremental gain, but to fundamentally redesign workflows and organizational structure to unlock new levels of perform

ng For
As the ideal candidate, you hold a degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations, or possess an equivalent blend of education and relevant experience. We are looking for a leader with strong communication, organizational, and team-building abilities, supported by a proven track record of elevating performance, engagement, and accountability across production teams. Expertise in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a significant asset. Current—or immediately attainable—WHMIS and comprehensive safety training are required. Ultimately, we are searching for a results-oriented, decisive, and analytical leader committed to fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the Dartmouth fa
