Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team in the packaging industry within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). We specialize in custom boxes, die-cuts, and specialty packaging for diverse industries — from food and beverage to retail and industrial. We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial-minded individual with strong business-to-business (B2B) sales acumen. The ideal candidate is not afraid to pick up the phone, visit clients, and open new doors. This is an independent, mobile role where initiative, follow-through, and professional presence are key to success.

Duties

  • Develop and grow new business in the packaging industry through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Engage in warm calling to identify potential clients and establish new business opportunities.
  • Conduct client prospecting visits across the GTA and surrounding regions.
  • Utilize Excel for tracking sales activities, managing leads, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and proposals in collaboration with the operations and production teams.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts that align with company goals while ensuring mutual benefit.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts in delivering exceptional service to clients.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Experience

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly within the corrugated packaging or related industries.
  • Strong background in account management with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — self-motivated, independent, and target-driven.
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiation.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for client visits.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging new prospects daily.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
