JOB SUMMARY:

Language: Portuguese

Location: St. Brigid Elementary School (Georgetown)

Effective Date: Immediately

End Date: June 8, 2026

Hours: Fridays, 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Hourly Rate: $18.43 to $37.38

POSITION OVERVIEW :

• Prepare and deliver language lessons for in-class and online as needed.
• Organization and maintenance of the classroom in school or online, including maintaining daily log of activities, lessons and student attendance.
• Supervision of students during the 2.5 hrs in a classroom or in a virtual class.
• Instruct students at various levels of linguistic competence.
• Adhering to and working within parameters of Board Policies and Procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Teachers with qualifications in a second language are preferred.
• Must exhibit competency in the International Language of instruction and have a good working knowledge of English.
• Demonstrated successful classroom teaching experience, preferably with elementary students.
• Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with a variety of learners.
• High energy – an excitement for teaching.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Copies of certificates, diplomas, designations and/or undergraduate degrees
