Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities, supporting continuous production, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role offers opportunities for leadership, technical growth, and hands-on problem-solving within a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics and technical manuals
  • Operate and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to support equipment or facility needs
  • Assist in the installation, modification, and upgrade of machinery and systems
  • Lead or supervise maintenance team members during shift operations or special projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal departments by promptly addressing maintenance requests

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings
  • Electrical experience including troubleshooting control systems and wiring
  • Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management
  • Experience with welding techniques and tools
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems
  • Supervising or leadership experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency

This position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations through technical expertise, leadership, and proactive maintenance practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
