Position: Part-Time Coach/Gym Teacher

Location: Multiple Campuses (Pickering/Ajax)

Hours: Approximately hours per week

Age Group: Children aged 6 - 14

Blaisdale Montessori School is on the lookout for a dynamic, sports-enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time Athletic Coordinator. We are dedicated to nurturing young minds, and we believe in the power of sports to teach valuable life skills and foster a spirit of teamwork.

Key Qualifications:

  • Passionate about Sports: You should have a solid athletic background and be well-versed in the rules and skills of various sports, including soccer, basketball, floor hockey, and baseball.
  • Experience with Children: Prior experience working with children aged 6-14 is highly desirable. You should be gentle, kind, and patient, with an ability to connect with and inspire young minds.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel between our campuses in Oshawa, and Bowmanville.

Responsibilities:

  • Sports Training and Coordination: Plan and execute engaging sports activities for our students. Ensure that all activities are age-appropriate and safe.
  • Team Building: Foster teamwork and camaraderie among students through sports.
  • Skill Development: Help students develop fundamental sports skills, focusing on both individual and team-based sports.
  • Safety First: Always prioritize the safety and well-being of the students during all activities.
