TEACHERS/COACHES NEEDED TO COACH A VOLLEYBALL NIKE HIGH-PERFORMANCE VOLLEYBALL CAMP

We are searching for a High-Performance Nike Volleyball Coach to coach volleyball players during our 6 days of Winter Break Camp. The successful candidate will be required to coach volleyball players to maximize their performance, and will also be required to provide feedback on their technical skills, athletic abilities and mental game. You will be required to have a set schedule of activities and drills to work on during the specific camps. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and a commitment to building volleyball athletes are some of the key requirements for this position. You will also have to be comfortable in talking with parents about progress of their children's volleyball development.

Responsibilities:

  • Sign-in & Sign-out athletes
  • Teach players how to practice.
  • Coach a group of 10-45 volleyball players per day (depending on registration signups)
  • Plan and teach practices.
  • Manage time
  • Be a Role Model
  • Coach in practice games.
  • Evaluate players' skills and weaknesses.
  • Keep up with research on how to improve player's skills.
  • Develop defensive, offensive, and special tactics for individual players.
  • Identify the strengths of each player.
  • Create a detailed plan for the week
  • Create a schedule for an entire week for camp from 9am-4pm

Must be available to work all 6 Winter Break dates:

Winter Break Dates: December 23, 23, 26, 29, 30, January 2

If shown well during the Winer Break, you can also coach during our March Break Camp and Summer Camp (9 weeks).

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 6 days

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
