Responsibilities:

As a Journeyman Mechanic at Ace Auto Credit, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing diagnostic assessments of vehicles to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Conducting routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Repairing and replacing vehicle components, such as engines, brakes, transmissions, and suspension systems.
  • Utilising advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Keeping accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and customer interactions.
  • Providing exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance requirements to clients in a clear and professional manner.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Alberta Journeyman Mechanic certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Journeyman Mechanic.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in various types of vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
  • Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Fluent in English.
