Position Summary:
Job Title: Sales Support Specialist
Duration: 06-12 Months Contract (Full time role possible for the right candidates)
Location: Calgary, AB T2P 3C5
Job Description:
Develop proposals; may negotiate with customers; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; drive competitive pricing.
May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation.
Handles standardized products with pre-defined options.
Contributes to predefined contracts and a framework of conditions and prices is set.
Handles targeted clients.
Discusses sales approach with manager.
Leads a department of medium-large personnel costs.
Handles Low - Medium - region size, stable region, established market presence
Working internal systems:
Gemeni - bit record capture (internal tracking system)
Quote Machine (internal proposals)
Proposal Generation in PowerPoint using created templates
Supporting a sales team of 4
Experience with data entry
Oil & Gas industry on the service side experience is preferred but not required
Open to entry level candidates but prefer 2+ years experience
