POWERTECH is a leader in heavy landscaping and forestry equipment sales and service for Ontario and Quebec, and have been for more than 25 years. Our company has expanded to offer a wide-ranging choice of new and pre-owned heavy equipment for sale and rental, and services a diverse range of customers in several major industries.

Due to our continued success and product support, POWERTECH is currently seeking qualified Heavy Equipment Mechanics.

Position Requirements/Assets

  • 3+ years experience as a Mechanic (Required)
  • Heavy Equipment experience considered an asset
  • Diesel and gasoline engine knowledge
  • Applicants must be safety conscious, have experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs
  • Experienced in completing preventive maintenance scheduled repairs and completing hand written repair orders
  • Basic computers skills and ability to refer to manuals for spare parts and diagnostics
  • Must be willing and able to work both in the shop and occasionally outdoors or in the field with our service truck
  • Own tools (Required)
  • Ability to work on site without supervision
  • Ability to weld an asset
  • Valid Drivers License

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
