THE CLEANERS AT CARMENS EVENT CENTRE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Carry out all cleaning tasks as assigned in guest and employee spaces (offices, washrooms, banquet halls/foyer)
  • Identify efficient methods to be used in carrying out routine cleaning tasks for desired results
  • Regularly use various cleaning products
  • Provide a clean, welcoming environment for guests, vendors, and employees
  • Collect debris/waste, empty trash containers, and dispose properly
  • General cleaning duties include, but are not limited to: sweeping/mopping floors, window/mirror cleaning, dusting, dishware and cutlery cleaning, furniture cleaning
  • Service, clean and disinfect washrooms, replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) as required
  • Removal and collection of linens as needed
  • Make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our guests by directly contributing to their extraordinary experiences
  • Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities
  • Other duties as assigned

CLEANER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Friendly, professional, and customer focused
  • Positive, outgoing, and friendly team player
  • Ability to tolerate cleaning products
  • Reliable with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to stay motivated when completing tasks
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Previous cleaning experience an asset
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and overnight shifts
  • Reliable transportation required
