OsteoStrong OsteoStrong Oakville – Session Coach and Community Engagement
1 week ago
At OsteoStrong, we help people age stronger — not slower.
Our unique system improves bone density, strength, balance, and overall vitality using patented, non-invasive technology. Members come to us looking to avoid fractures, stay mobile, and enjoy life with more confidence. Backed by science and driven by passion, OsteoStrong is the missing link in preventative wellness.
We serve adults and seniors who want to live independently longer, reduce the risk of falls, or increase strength naturally — without high-impact exercise or medications.
We're looking for a Session Coach with a passion for wellness and strong people skills. If you also enjoy coordination and community-building, this role could evolve to include:
- REMS scan coordination (bone density tracking via ultrasound)
- Event outreach with retirement homes, wellness clinics, and studios
- Partnership-building with chiropractors, naturopaths, Pilates studios, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Engaging Sessions: Guide members through safe, effective, and empowering weekly sessions using OsteoStrong's specialized equipment and protocols.
- New Member Onboarding: Create a welcoming experience for new members by providing education, performing initial assessments, and setting clear expectations for their journey.
- Track Baseline & Progress Markers: Collect and record baseline health markers and session data to monitor individual progress and support member success.
- Member Retention & Support: Foster ongoing relationships with members through consistent follow-ups, coaching, and recognition of milestones to ensure continued engagement.
- Schedule Management: Conduct setter calls to book member sessions, follow up on missed appointments, and ensure recurring visits are optimized for best outcomes.
- Referral & Flight Risk Outreach: Proactively reach out to members identified as "flight risks" and encourage referrals to build a strong, motivated community.
- Promotions & Campaign Execution: Educate members about monthly promotions and encourage participation in center-wide initiatives and health campaigns.
- Member Success Monitoring: Actively contribute to members' progress by identifying challenges early, celebrating wins, and offering tailored support.
- Team Communication & Coordination: Participate in management and team calls to stay aligned on goals, operations, and member updates.
- End-of-Day (EOD) Tasks: Complete daily responsibilities such as equipment sanitization, session documentation, and communication logs to maintain smooth operations and cleanliness.
- Administrative & Team Collaboration: Maintain accurate records of member progress and provide reports as needed. Work closely with the rest of the team to enhance the overall member experience and contribute to business growth.
- Coordinate and manage REMS scan appointments (non-radiation, ultrasound-based bone scans)
- Meet with people after scans to talk to explain results.
- Run outreach to retirement homes, yoga/Pilates studios, and senior centers
- Schedule and co-host Lunch & Learn or StrongTalk events
- Follow up with event attendees and referrals to support business growth
Ideal Candidate
This role is ideal for:
- Seniors or semi-retired professionals passionate about health and helping others
- Sonographers, fitness coaches, wellness advisors, nurses, or physiotherapy assistants
- Organized individuals who enjoy both client-facing work and back-end coordination
- Individuals who like sales and can work in a commission based structure
- Would like to take ownership in the business
- Friendly, approachable professionals who are eager to learn and support a purpose-driven business
What You'll Love About Working Here
- Weekly coaching and mentorship to help you grow
- Deeply rewarding work helping members improve quality of life
- A positive, empowering team culture where your voice matters
- Bonuses available for REMS coordination and event success
