J17 Fitness & Power Performance is a high-performance training facility specializing in athlete development and functional fitness.

We coach youth and adult athletes through science-based, structured programs focused on strength, speed, and overall athletic performance.

Position Overview

We're seeking passionate and professional Performance Coaches to join our growing team.

You'll work with youth, athletes, and adults in both group and 1-on-1 training settings, following J17's proven training systems and methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and motivate clients during group and personal training sessions
  • Create and deliver performance-based strength and conditioning programs
  • Educate athletes on technique, movement quality, and injury prevention
  • Conduct fitness assessments and track athlete progress
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and professional training environment
  • Collaborate with the J17 coaching team to continually enhance our programs

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field (preferred)
  • Recognized certification (e.g., CPT, CSCS, NCCP, CSEP-CPT)
  • Prior experience in athletic performance, strength & conditioning, or personal training
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Energetic, coachable, and passionate about helping others improve

Pay: $35.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
