Role Overview

As a Senior Service Advisor, you will be the key liaison between our customers and our technical team. You'll ensure every vehicle that comes in receives outstanding service, clear communication, and that our customers understand the value we deliver. You'll take ownership of the customer's experience from check-in through vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers with professionalism and empathy; establish rapport and trust from the start.
  • Listen closely to customer concerns; translate them accurately into service recommendations & repair orders.
  • Provide transparent estimates for labor, parts, and timing; discuss options, priorities, and warranties.
  • Maintain open, frequent communication with customers throughout the repair / maintenance process, including unexpected change orders or delays.
  • Coordinate with technicians, parts department, and other internal teams to ensure efficient workflow, timely completion, and quality control.
  • Increase average repair order and drive additional revenue
  • Recommend additional services or preventative work where appropriate and aligned with customer needs.
  • Track, process, and follow up on warranty and service contract claims.
  • Ensure all job cards, documentation, invoicing, and billing are accurate and compliant.
  • Manage customer feedback, resolve complaints, and maintain satisfaction metrics.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives — suggest processes, tools, and metrics that improve efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5+years of experience as a Service Advisor or similar client‐facing role in automotive service, ideally with exposure to both domestic and import vehicles.
  • Strong automotive mechanical understanding (systems, diagnostics, repair processes), sufficient to converse with technical staff and interpret diagnostic information.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical issues in simple, customer-friendly terms.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, manage time, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid computer skills: experience with service management software (RO systems), CRM tools, digital communication, and standard office software.
  • Valid driver's license; clean driving record.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, integrity-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Bonus if you have: prior experience managing warranty claims, leading a team, or working in high-volume service environments.
