Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator( Level 2 & 3) to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional development, and supporting children's individual needs. The Early Childhood Teacher will collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents to ensure a positive learning experience for every child.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records of development milestones
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and school events
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
  • Incorporate bilingual instruction (English/French) when applicable to support language development
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with disabilities or special education requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and supplies

Skills
