Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher Level 2 to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education principles and the ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development in young children.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
  • Assess children's progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs, including those with disabilities or special educational requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development, behavior, and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and other documentation as required.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the community to support holistic development.

Skills

  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Strong background in childcare, early childhood education, or related fields.
  • Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain records efficiently.
  • Leadership abilities to guide classroom activities and support fellow educators.
  • Time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills for documentation and lesson planning purposes.
  • Writing skills for creating reports, lesson plans, and communication materials.

Job Type: Full-time
