Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain a spotless appearance, including specialized floor care such as buffing and stripping when necessary
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly following environmental guidelines
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
  • Conduct routine janitorial tasks, including dusting surfaces, cleaning windows, and sanitizing high-touch areas to promote hygiene
  • Assist with industrial cleaning tasks in larger facilities or specialized areas requiring custodial experience
  • Support facilities maintenance activities, such as minor repairs or reporting issues that require professional attention
  • Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or hazards
  • Maintain detailed records of completed tasks and supply inventory levels

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial practices
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and polishing floors
  • Experience with commercial cleaning environments, residential painting, or industrial cleaning is highly desirable
  • Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively
  • Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures and basic repair skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly
