Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, as well as strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various cleaning tasks.
  • Conduct facilities maintenance duties as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from occupants promptly.
  • Manage time efficiently to complete cleaning tasks within designated schedules.
  • Handle heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed during all tasks.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues to management.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Experience

  • Previous custodial experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance tasks is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and facility occupants.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
