Job Overview
Experience BC, the region's leader in tours and transportation, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our team in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical and customer service skills, with experience in managing various administrative tasks. This role requires online workplace proficiency , along with excellent communication abilities to ensure smooth operations within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operations
- Manage phone systems, handling incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Oversee products, insurance, website, social media, etc. to ensure accuracy
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks and manage accounts using QuickBooks
- Provide excellent customer service and support
- Assist staff with HR needs, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize Google Workspace, document creation, collaboration, and communication
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policies
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail in data entry and documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
- Customer support experience with phone and email etiquette is essential
- Previous experience as in tourism, transportation, or hospitality will be advantageous
