Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Alarm Responder to join our safety and security team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for promptly responding to emergency alarms, coordinating emergency management efforts, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities, exceptional crisis management skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in maintaining a secure environment through proactive emergency response and management.

Responsibilities

  • Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency alarm activations across designated facilities or sites.
  • Assess the situation upon arrival, determine the appropriate course of action, and coordinate emergency response efforts.
  • Lead and direct safety teams or first responders during emergency incidents to ensure coordinated efforts.
  • Communicate clearly with emergency services, management, and affected personnel to relay critical information.
  • Document incident details accurately and prepare reports for review and future safety planning.
  • Monitor alarm systems continuously to identify potential hazards or malfunctions that could compromise safety.
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License (Required).
  • Valid Full G Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract (Required).
  • Full availability to work, including weekends and holidays.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to write clear, concise reports.
  • Standard First Aid & Level "C" CPR certification is a strong asset.
  • Proven leadership experience in emergency management or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of emergency response protocols, safety regulations, and crisis management techniques.
