The impact you'll make:
Reporting to the Sr. Distribution Manager, as the Fulfillment Manager, you shall oversee the daily operations of a warehouse fulfilling orders, including managing team members (including the Distribution Center Supervisor) ensuring accurate and timely order picking and packing, monitoring inventory levels, optimizing warehouse efficiency, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations, all while focusing on meeting community member and retail delivery expectations within our e-commerce/retail and SLA.

What you'll do:
- Oversee inventory volume and forecasting across the department to ensure appropriate resources and tools are allocated for operational tasks.
- Plan and schedule labor to meet all functional requirements and ensure consistent operational coverage.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and business partners to align labor and workload with Distribution and business priorities.
- Ensure departmental tasks are completed within established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor and optimize labor usage to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Lead and support direct reports in meeting daily performance expectations and KPIs through regular feedback, coaching, performance management, and retraining as needed.
- Uphold DC and company policies by providing guidance, coaching, and corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure all departmental activities are executed in alignment with training guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Address and communicate issues related to personnel, operations, labor needs, and safety hazards in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct regular performance and compensation reviews with team members.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams, business partners, and external vendors.
- Interview and hire new team members to support operational demands.
- Develop and execute onboarding plans, materials, and training of new team members.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Proven experience in managing departmental operations, including volume forecasting, resource planning, running operations to meet business demands.
- Strong ability to identify and schedule labour effectively to ensure consistent execution of functional tasks.
- Skilled in people and performance management, including daily KPI monitoring, coaching, feedback, and re-training to support team development.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners to align labour and workload with distribution and business priorities.
- Expertise in developing, implementing, and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple operational functions.
- Track record of ensuring departmental tasks are completed within established service level agreements (SLAs), while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Knowledge of company and distribution centre policies, with experience in enforcing compliance through coaching and corrective action.
- Commitment to operational excellence through adherence to training protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues related to personnel, operations, labour, and safety in a timely and effective manner.
- Experience conducting performance and compensation reviews to support employee engagement and retention.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a history of identifying and executing process enhancements in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proficient in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new team members to meet evolving operational needs.

The compensation range for this position is from $75,000-80,000 annually. Base pay is dependent to market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Other components of our total rewards offerings include:
