Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests by delivering quality service and maintaining a friendly atmosphere.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Process payments using the POS system, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations.
  • Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food safety standards and guidelines.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and cashier station.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
  • Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cashiering or food service is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing high-quality service.
