Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Legal Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment.

Duties

  • Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the firm.
  • Manage incoming/directing calls to appropriate personnel and taking messages as needed.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate client records in accordance with confidentiality protocols.
  • Filing and organizing legal documents, ensuring easy access for and staff.
  • Provide clerical support including typing, proofreading documents, and preparing correspondence.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for document creation and management.
  • Maintain the front desk area in a professional manner, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
  • Handle customer support inquiries effectively, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations.

Skills

  • Strong computer skills with experience in data entry and clerical duties.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
