Stolen Bell Distillery is thrilled to announce the recently opened venue, featuring a sophisticated cocktail lounge and a vibrant restaurant. We are looking for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our small but dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-quality food, a strong understanding of modern cooking techniques, and a desire to grow within a creative environment. Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll take ownership of your section, help develop new dishes, and ensure consistent excellence in every plate served.
Duties
Be part of a small team where everyone is hands-on in the kitchen
Take lead on assigned section and show initiative to develop this growing business
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Manage kitchen together with Sous Chef in absence of Head Chef.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in developing new dishes.
Ensure food is received and stored in a hygienic and safe manner.
Assist with other duties as assigned
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen team and front of house.
Keen attention to detail and pride in your craft.
Passion for innovation, with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes and exceptional dining experiences.
Food safe certificate is an asset.
