Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are hiring a heavy-duty mechanic to join our team in our Williams Lake shop.

This posting requires experience repairing heavy duty equipment: Overhauling, servicing, troubleshooting, adjusting, maintaining, etc.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in and adhere to health & safety programs/policies/procedures
  • Perform duties that range from the routine to the major breakdowns, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Disassemble and reassemble components: Engines, transmissions, cooling systems, fuel & exhaust systems, brakes, clutches, differentials, hydraulics, electrical, lubrication systems, etc.
  • Provide innovative and cost-effective solutions and best practices

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of our team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic hand tools up to ¾" drive
  • Red Seal Journeypersons or Heavy-duty tech certification would be a benefit
