Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Tech or Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, installing and maintaining HVAC and sheet metal components across various projects. This role requires 4th year or Journeyperson ticket and a strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, sheet metal and print reading to ensure high-quality workmanship and safety standards are met. The team member will play a vital role in supporting our operations, including HVAC equipment and ducting systems.

Duties

  • Fabricate sheet metal according to detailed schematics and blueprints
  • Repair and maintain HVAC equipment, components, and other mechanical systems
  • Conduct sheet metal work related to metal piping and fixtures
  • Assist with appliance repair and general maintenance tasks
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical diagrams
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively
  • Support construction projects by assembling sheet metal and HVAC
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues with mechanical systems
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HVAC maintenance, fabrication and repair
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and appliance repair is preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings
  • Construction or maintenance experience is a must.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and related machinery safely
  • Mechanic experience or background in industrial maintenance is highly desirable
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
