  • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics (OTD, quality, responsiveness) and drive corrective actions and supplier development.
  • Support supplier audits, qualification, and compliance processes in collaboration with Quality Assurance and EHS.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and receiving teams to manage inbound deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and availability, minimizing stockouts, excess inventory, and production disruptions.
  • Implement and maintain procurement strategies for Just-In-Time (JIT), Kanban, and other lean manufacturing systems.
  • Track and report procurement KPIs such as cost savings, PO cycle time, supplier performance, and inventory turnover.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Accountable for internal and external audits, risk assessments, and compliance related to procurement activities.
  • Coordinate with shipping, transportation, and warehousing teams to ensure efficient inbound flow and storage of goods.
  • Lead and develop a team of buyers and procurement specialists with a focus on manufacturing excellence.
  • Provide training, coaching, training and performance feedback to ensure team effectiveness and alignment with operational goals.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, lean thinking, and operational excellence across procurement functions.

Requirements:
