The art of negotiation and procurement: you've got it We're looking for a daring spirit like yours to join our team. You'll be the main point of contact between our suppliers and Kimpex. This role combines strategic and operational responsibilities, and you'll enjoy a high degree of autonomy. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers, while ensuring optimal management of the product offering, in order to support our objectives of growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Manage orders (PO, dunning, dates, receiving discrepancies) and develop purchasing strategies to maximize service levels, inventory turns and profit margins
  • Develop and maintain effective and lasting business relationships with assigned suppliers
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers (prices, discounts, terms, MOQ, etc.). )
  • Manage the product assortment: selection, introduction, creation and rationalization of the offer
  • Analyze the performance of products in the portfolio and recommend concrete actions
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competition and new developments in the powersports sector
  • Prospect for new partnerships with strong brands in our industry
  • Visit suppliers and participate in exhibitions when required
  • Participate in the management of forecasts for assigned accounts
  • Manage warranty claims for assigned accounts

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration and/or supply chain management training
  • Relevant experience related to purchasing, procurement and/or logistics
  • Bilingualism essential both oral and written (French-English) for communication with our suppliers
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Analytical/mathematical ability
  • Knowledge of D365 management system (an asset)
