Job Summary:

As an Intermediate Electrical Commissioning Agent, you will be providing commissioning services to our clients which includes both off-site development work and on-site physical verification services. This is an exciting career for someone who is passionate about quality and doing things right and is seeking an opportunity that offers both hands-on field work and office technical development work.

In this role, you will:

• Working with the latest cloud-based commissioning technology and software.
• Develop detailed functional performance test procedures.
• Attend commissioning and related meetings which chairing meetings and taking minutes.
• Complete onsite commissioning including completing commissioning forms and identifying deficiencies.
• Represent VSC Group at commissioning site meetings to present progress status, identify items that are required to be completed by contractors, and answer contractor and client/owner representative questions

Required Skills/abilities:

• Completion of an Electrical Engineering degree / Technologist or Technician diploma/degree in a related field.
• Previous experience with data centres and/or mission critical strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of equivalent MEP construction, commissioning and project management experience.
• Computer literacy with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Project.
• Bilingual in French and English (oral and written) highly desirable.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Valid Driver's license and access to reliable transportation required.
• Travel to perform commissioning services is required.
• Valid ASP Construction certificate required.
• Safety shoes (6" minimum ankle length with toe protection and electric shock resistant) required.
• Able to work onsite both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Location: Remote, Quebec, Canada

Travel: Frequent travel is required.
