**What You’ll Do**

Gyptech is seeking an **Electrical Site Supervisor**to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Electrical Field Services, your role will involve:

- Assist with cost estimating new project installations.
- Generating Electrical Bid Packages for contractor quoting purposes.
- Written specifications, documents, and drawings
- Cable tray layouts
- Electrical Layouts
- Cable Schedules
- Managing contractor material orders to ensure on-site availability during installations.
- Spending periods of time on-site working with customers and managing electrical contractors to ensure successful installation of Gyptech electrical and control systems during construction phases.
- Equipment and control panel testing and quality control
- Testing, troubleshooting, correcting, and repairing problems with electrical & control systems at Gyptech sites during commissioning and support phases
- Helping to troubleshoot VFD’s and other motor control devices as well as various types of industrial networking and communication protocols (Ethernet, Profibus, DH+ )

This position is based out of our head office in Burlington; however, it is primarily a field position with the requirement to travel on a consistent basis.

**What You Offer**
- Journeyman Electrician, Technical Diploma, Engineering Degree, or a demonstration of equivalent experience
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in industrial environments with experience in lead or foreman type role
- Works well independently or in a team setting
- Able to successfully lay out work plans and see them through according to schedule
- Experience with hardware and software for PowerFlex, Sinamic and Yaskawa VFD’s
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experienced with AutoCAD
- Able to read different types of electrical schematics (EPLAN, AutoCAD etc.).
- Available for extended international travel to a variety of different locations.
