Analytic Systems Ware Ltd ) designs and manufactures power electronic products in Tilbury Industrial Park located in Delta, BC including Power Supplies, Inverters, Voltage Converters and Battery Chargers for the Military, Industrial and Marine markets.

Job Description

The Shipper & Receiver will be responsible for performing all shipping duties which include, but are not limited to: shipping, documenting, and preparing the manufactured product for delivery and presentation to our customers or to stock inventory. The Shipper & Receiver has the final responsibility for customer satisfaction and is the last point at which products can be corrected or improved before being seen by the customer, and therefore a keen eye to detail is required for final quality inspection.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School
  • Must be eligible to work in B.C.
  • 2 - 3 years of related shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with electronic components or electronic assembly experience an asset
  • Knowledge of use of accounting or other computer software programs for inventory management
  • Must possess valid Forklift Operators Certificate and be experienced in Forklift operation

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all shipping, packaging, and final inspection duties
  • Ensure all essential information is documented correctly, and product identified appropriately with correct serial numbers, labels, and instruction manuals
  • Ensure accuracy of all commercial invoices and export documentation
  • Ensure the product is prepared and packaged suitably for shipping conditions and directed to the appropriate customer and on time
  • Maintain and update the shipment records log
  • Manage the shipping supplies inventory
  • Receiving and unloading deliveries either manually or via forklift
  • Receiving and inspecting incoming parts, printing receiving labels, and placing into parts inventory
  • Receiving and logging of customer returns
  • Any other duties assigned

Skill, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Must be able to speak, write, and read English, and have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have good numeracy skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Have the knowledge to use business equipment and computer applications such as Windows, electronic mail, MS Word, Excel, and accounting software
  • Knowledge of major couriers is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum or little supervision, in a team or individual setting
  • Ability to multitask and assist the production team when required
  • Ability to lift and move 60 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
