We're looking for a strong Dispatch / Operations Coordinator to help plan work, coordinate resources, and keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish.This role reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with the General Foreman and site Foremen to support day-to-day operations and client communication.
What You'll Be Accountable ForProject Planning & Scheduling
- Plan and schedule crews, equipment, and job timelines across multiple active projects
- Adjust schedules as conditions change and communicate impacts clearly and promptly
- Support the GM and General Foreman with forward-looking workload and capacity planning
Dispatch, Equipment & Tool Coordination
- Coordinate delivery, pickup, and availability of tools and equipment
- Ensure crews arrive on site with everything required to work efficiently
- Track shared tools and equipment to minimize downtime and loss
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
- Order materials and rentals required for each project
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries
- Maintain vendor relationships and help ensure competitive pricing
Subcontractor Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors as required
- Clearly communicate scopes, schedules, and site expectations
- Track attendance, performance, and job completion
Operational Support for Field Leadership
- Act as a key support resource for the General Foreman and Foremen
- Help resolve day-to-day operational issues quickly and calmly
- Remove logistical roadblocks so crews can stay productive
Client Communication
- Provide clear, concise, and timely updates to clients as needed
- Support the GM with scheduling confirmations and change notifications
- Maintain a professional, solutions-oriented communication style
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- Comfortable coordinating multiple crews, vendors, and timelines at once
- Clear written and verbal communicator (email, text, phone)
- Confident making decisions and adapting plans as conditions change
- Experience in construction, demolition, trades, or field operations is a strong asset
- Comfortable using scheduling tools, CRMs, or project management systems
- Calm under pressure and proactive by nature
- Crews show up prepared and on time
- Equipment and materials are ready before work begins
- Foremen feel supported, not reactive
- Clients feel informed and confident in our execution
- The GM has visibility and confidence in daily operations
