Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction in our salon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for the beauty industry. As the Salon Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales while maintaining a welcoming environment for both clients and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily salon operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Recruit, train, and develop salon staff to enhance their skills and performance
  • Manage payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting to maintain profitability
  • Implement effective merchandising strategies to promote products and services
  • Supervise staff performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Handle customer service inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and cash handling procedures
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote salon services through various channels
  • Conduct interviews for potential hires and manage onboarding processes
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the salon

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail management or salon management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
  • Proficient in POS systems and cash handling procedures
  • Experience with merchandising and pricing strategies
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping practices is advantageous
  • Familiarity with training & development processes for staff improvement
