Senior Project Coordinator
(ICI Construction – Full Project Lifecycle)**
We are looking for a highly skilled, technically strong, and detail-driven Senior Project Coordinator with extensive experience supporting full-cycle ICI construction projects.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands construction drawings inside and out, and is confident in supporting project teams through pre-construction, construction, QA/QC, commissioning, and closeout. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, clients, architects, engineers, and subtrades to ensure seamless coordination, documentation accuracy, and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Drawings, Documentation & Technical Support
- Read, interpret, and coordinate architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and shop drawings.
- Identify discrepancies, RFIs, conflicts, and coordination issues; proactively communicate with internal and external teams.
- Manage and update project documentation, addendums, bulletins, and revisions in a structured and accessible manner.
Construction Coordination (Full Cycle)
- Support PMs through all project phases: procurement, tendering, construction, QA/QC, deficiency management, and closeout.
- Assist with preparing scopes of work, award recommendations, change orders, subtrade instructions, and meeting minutes.
- Track progress against schedule, proactively flag issues, and support mitigation planning.
Procurement & Subtrade Administration
- Prepare tender packages, evaluate bids, and support subcontractor and vendor negotiations.
- Support Green Pass compliance initiation, onboarding, and verification in Salus (Traugott-specific compliance process).
- Maintain accurate logs for RFIs, submittals, samples, MSDS, equipment tracking, and trade correspondence.
Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Actively participate in QA/QC inspections, checklists, mockups, and milestone reviews.
- Assist in coordinating testing, commissioning, and regulatory inspections.
- Collaborate with Site Supervisors to ensure construction meets Traugott's standards and contract specifications.
Health & Safety Coordination
- Support Salus compliance reporting and ensure required documentation is uploaded and current.
- Assist Site teams in ensuring adherence to OHSA, Construction Reg. 213/91, and Traugott's H&S Management System.
- Track safety documentation, orientations, toolbox talks, incident reports, and legislative training requirements.
Client & Consultant Communication
- Maintain professional, consistent communication with clients, architects, engineers, and authorities.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, assign action items, and track follow-up.
- Support client relations through proactive updates, timely responses, and polished deliverables.
Closeout & Turnover
- Manage full closeout documentation including warranty packages, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, commissioning reports, deficiency tracking, and turnover binders.
- Ensure all deliverables meet Traugott's standards and client expectations.
Qualifications
- 4–7+ years of Project Coordination experience in ICI construction (industrial, commercial, institutional).
- Strong ability to read and interpret multi-discipline drawings and specifications.
- Experience with QA/QC processes, inspections, and commissioning activities.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and contract requirements.
- Familiarity with Salus, Procore, or similar construction management platforms (Traugott uses Salus & Procore).
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across project teams and respond to evolving project needs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, Architectural Technology, or related field preferred.
