Specific Responsibilities

  • Leads the (global) project team to execute digital projects on schedule, at or below budget delivering the contracted scope of work to all applicable codes and standards.
  • Key customer contact for assigned projects.
  • Responsible for internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain regular contact (verbal and written) with key representative(s) ensuring all key project events and issues are documented in writing.
  • Identification and evaluation of new digitalization potential and opportunities

Manage project risks including:

  • Assessment and Identification of risks
  • Develop and Implement Risk Mitigation Plan(s)
  • Forecasting

Project Planning:

  • Develop suitable budget allocations for ATS labour and materials.
  • Oversee project schedule development and identify all critical path activities.
  • Planning and execution of projects along the ATS internal gate process and milestones

Project Financial Management:

  • Working with the financial analyst, ensure all billings and invoicing is submitted on time. Ensure all project deliverables are accomplished and supporting documentation is prepared for each project milestone payment. Obtain necessary project gates and any other customer approvals needed to enable on-time payment including Final payment and project closure.
  • Project Forecasting – Prepare accurate financial and resource forecasts.

Team Leadership:

  • Encourages and mentors employees to ensure that the build team's morale and efficiency is maintained at the highest level.
  • Manage projects and project teams in accordance with all applicable ATS procedures. Ensure project teams follow the required procedures. Conduct regular project DVM`s and issue weekly project updates to the project team.

Compliance:

  • Safety – Ensure that all project activities are conducted in accordance with ATS and Legal standards. Ensure that a PSHSR (Pre-Start Health and Safety Reviews) is prepared and acted upon.
  • Carry out hazard assessments, inspections, and audits as required by legislative framework and/or corporate requirements.
  • Ensure that appropriate equipment, materials and protective devices are provided and maintained in safe condition.
  • Attend HSE Due Diligence for Management training sessions.
  • Strictly follow Quality requirements as defined within the manual and procedures

Customer Relationship Management:

  • (Internal) Customer Advocate
  • Deliver maximum customer satisfaction
  • Pro-actively handle customer concerns
  • Partnership with ATS Account & Project Manager to manage the customer

Management Reporting:

  • Attend the project status meeting as requested by the Program Manager and/or Director, Project Management.

Project Change Management:

  • Track all contract changes and prepare CORs (Change Order Requests).
  • Ensure customer caused / requested changes are executed by the team only after receipt of customer agreement.

Qualifications
Education:

  • Successfully completed post-secondary college diploma or studies in the field of (business) informatics, (controls) engineering, digitization or comparable qualification.
  • Completion of or in the process of achieving the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management or project execution, ideally within digitization, IT, or industrial automation contexts;
  • Exposure to leading projects or teams, including aspects such as budget responsibility, resource planning, and forecasting—either directly as a project manager or indirectly through technical leadership roles;
  • Ability to work effectively with customers under deadline-driven and high-pressure conditions;
  • Familiarity with digital twin, virtual commissioning, IoT, data integration, or related digital technologies;
  • Experience applying structured project management methods; knowledge of the ATS internal gate process is a plus;
  • Confident use of project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, and digital collaboration platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving;
  • Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and the ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams;
  • High level of initiative, ownership, and enthusiasm for innovation and digital transformation.
