Part time position leading to fulltime

This position is for local shunting, some cross border work may be required

Lease Serv Transportation is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced AZ truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while obeying all traffic laws, regulations, MTO, DOT and E-log requirements. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service skills. The Driver will be required to perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.

Part Time position leading to full time, must be available days/afternoons/nights . Excellent customer service skills mandatory for this position and must be proficient in the English language

Duties

  • Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a safe manner.

  • Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to scheduled routes and traffic laws.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels, brakes, and tires, follow E-log regulations

  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit or at the customer's location.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.

  • Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.

Experience

  • 5 years Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid AZ License (mandatory)

  • Clean CVOR/ Drivers Abstract no tickets/accidents

  • 5 years of clean insurance LOE's with no accidents (mandatory requirement)

  • Good customer service skills

  • Cross border experience
