The Director of Marketing is a hands-on, full-stack contributor responsible for developing and executing the global marketing strategy for our B2B software and services. This role will drive market expansion and revenue growth by translating complex technical value propositions into compelling business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be a sleeves-rolled-up leader who can both strategize at the executive level and execute marketing campaigns. The candidate will work from our Toronto office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Product Positioning

  • Define Core Messaging: Work closely with the Product teams to define differentiated, clear, and customer-centric narratives, value propositions, and positioning for both DNO Cloud.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Drive market and competitor research and customer requirements definition to inform product marketing strategy and identify new business opportunities.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning: Own the full GTM plan for product launches, defining the target buyer's journey, and mapping effective digital channels (SEO, social media, events, collateral).

Content & Demand Generation

  • Content Leadership: Drive the creation and delivery of thought leadership content, including webinars, high-value technical blogs, events, and client case studies to generate new revenue opportunities.
  • Asset Production: Produce high-quality, on-message marketing assets, including sharp, succinct pitch-decks, product data sheets, solution web pages, and product demo scripts.
  • Lead Generation & Nurturing: Implement scalable programs that consistently generate a high volume of qualified leads and focus on conversion throughout the sales funnel.
  • Communications & PR: Develop press releases and media materials, and manage key relationships with newswire services and industry analysts.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Web & Digital Channel Ownership: Contribute to the ongoing development of , ensuring optimization of messaging, content, design, and website performance.
  • Sales Enablement: Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to provide necessary collateral, presentations, and market intelligence to support active sales cycles.
  • Event Management: Contribute to company participation at industry events and conferences, managing all aspects from speaker submissions and booth collateral to budget and follow-up activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation skills, executive presence, and the ability to confidently deliver presentations to audiences of all sizes.
  • Experience & Tenure: 10+ years of relevant experience demonstrating the ability to manage and scale full-stack B2B marketing programs.
  • Enterprise SaaS Expertise: Demonstrated results and hands-on experience marketing enterprise SaaS software to Fortune 500 or Global 2000 clients.
  • AI: Adept and using AI tools to drive marketing velocity, quality and productivity.
  • Telecom Domain Knowledge (Highly Preferred): Experience marketing to communications service providers (CSPs) and a deep knowledge of their specific business and technical challenges (e.g. BSS, monetization, 5G).
  • Strategic and Analytical Acumen: Consistent track record of using data and analytics to drive decision-making and a strong history of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics (KPIs).
  • Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, drive clarity, and build strong working relationships with globally dispersed, cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, and Finance).
