We're looking for a Content Specialist to join our Marketing team. You will be responsible for developing B2B marketing assets (case studies, reports, eBooks, etc) website copy, social copy and managing the NuORDER by Lightspeed blog.
You've got amazing writing skills and consider yourself highly creative You're stoked to join a fast-paced, dynamic B2B marketing team and will use your creativity to turn technical capabilities into customer benefits. If you'd love to put your outstanding creative and writing skills to work on a wide variety of projects – from product launches and web copy to sales promotions, videos, and marketing campaigns, then we'd like to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Become highly knowledgeable about NuORDER's software solution and customers in order to develop product messaging that clearly differentiates NuORDER's offerings.
- Manage the blog strategy: Ideate weekly blog topics, manage blog schedule and postings.
- Manage freelance writers: assign blog topics, create detailed content briefs, and fully edit and proofread all blog posts to ensure brand voice consistency and editorial quality.
- Support the production of high-impact marketing and sales materials that communicate value and benefits for customers including but not limited to content for website, case studies, eBooks, white papers, reports, landing pages and more.
- Actively contribute original solutions that deliver highly polished, creative, and impactful marketing campaigns.
- Write compelling email campaigns for nurtures, promotions, and product announcements that drive engagement and conversions.
- Partner with the demand generation and growth teams to develop copy and content for events, webinars, and campaign promotions.
- Support occasional paid advertising initiatives and assist with ad hoc marketing projects as needed.
- Manage SEO execution in partnership with our SEO agency: assign briefs to freelance writers, implement optimizations, and oversee progress against the SEO task calendar to ensure timely delivery and impact.
What you need to bring:
- 5+ years of experience in software product marketing or marketing copywriting.
- Bachelor's in business, creative writing or marketing or equivalent experience.
- Outstanding written communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent people skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-driven organization.
- Must be able to work independently on marketing content from ideation to final publication.
And a little bit of...
- Familiar with Hubspot and other marketing automation tools
- Experience with SEO or conversion optimization
- Previous experience creating content for an enterprise business audience
