Responsibilities

  • Decorate cakes and baked goods according to customer specifications and design templates
  • Prepare cakes, frosting, and other bakery items with precision and attention to detail
  • Ensure all products are visually appealing and meet quality standards before presentation
  • Handle food preparation tasks including mixing, baking, and assembling cakes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating station and work area in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Package finished products securely for delivery or customer pickup
  • Assist customers with product selections and answer questions about cake designs and ingredients
  • Follow all food handling and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

  • Proven experience in cake decorating or pastry arts is preferred
  • Background in restaurant or bakery environments is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food preparation, baking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols is essential
  • Familiarity with food industry standards for hygiene and food handling practices
  • Experience with food presentation, piping techniques, fondant work, and creative design is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members

Job Type: Casual
