As a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for accurate diagnosis, efficient repairs, and clear communication to ensure work is completed correctly the first time.
This role suits a technician who is experienced, driven, accountable, and comfortable working in a professional shop environment.

Clavet Service is a family-owned and operated automotive repair shop serving Clavet, Saskatoon, and surrounding areas. We operate a busy, structured shop with clear workflows, strong leadership, and long-term staff.
Our team is hands-on, down-to-earth, and committed to showing up for one another—and our customers. We believe in serving others, being grateful, and doing things right the first time.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate repairs right the first time in accordance with manufacturer repair procedures.
- Clearly document and communicate whether future work is recommended (manufacturer guidelines) or required (worn, failed, or safety-related components).
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs
- Identify and communicate any necessary repairs or maintenance issues that may affect vehicle performance or reliability.
- Accurately complete work orders and technician notes
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding work completed
- Supervise and support Apprentices when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Attend all required technical and Government required training as per company's training policies.
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and provincial regulations
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician (Red Seal an asset)
- 3–5 years automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with computerized diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and repair manuals
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Safety-first mindset with knowledge of WHMIS and OH&S regulation
Please note that wage is up to $42.00 and based on level & experience.
