Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair automotive issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and fluid replacements
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs effectively
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex repairs
  • Conduct safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
  • Assist with vehicle assembly and component replacement as needed
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly to clients
  • Adhere to dealership safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Skills

  • Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
  • Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual tasks required for vehicle repairs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills for customer interactions and teamwork
  • Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $24.00-$50.00 per hour
