Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs effectively
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex repairs
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Assist with vehicle assembly and component replacement as needed
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly to clients
- Adhere to dealership safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual tasks required for vehicle repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for customer interactions and teamwork
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $24.00-$50.00 per hour
