Overview

We are a busy, family owned Automotive Repair business, with an excellent reputation. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. This role requires the ability to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues efficiently while clearly communicating with service writer to ultimately provide exceptional customer service to our loyal clientelle. As an Automotive Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing diagnostic tools and other shop equipment along with personal hand tools and power tools to diagnose, maintain and repair vehicles.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with service writer regarding customer vehicle needs.
  • Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as required.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer forward work ethic, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour
