Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to work with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
  • Assist in the assembly of vehicle components as needed, ensuring all parts are correctly installed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to company policies regarding safety and cleanliness.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.

Qualifications

  • Previous mechanic experience is required; dealership experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair processes and maintenance schedules.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documents related to vehicle systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing a positive experience for clients.
