Job Description

Our rapidly growing company requires a organized crew lead to join our team. This position is responsible for performing various coating applications, along with guiding, instructing, supervising and leading a team to complete our various scopes of work. They will perform duties including training new staff, quality control inspections and the frontline application our coating systems. The successful candidate will be asked to wear many hats depending on business needs and should be adaptable to a changing environment. The Crew Lead will assist with process development and refinement; we are looking for a leader that can help understand and improve our business processes. This role is in direct contact with clients and requires effective / professional communications. Travel throughout Alberta and occasional interprovincial travel will be required for this role.

Compensation

$55,000/year with a bonus/incentives structure

Duties

  • Production planning on upcoming projects – organize crews & materials for daily operations
  • Create job quotations, updates, client entries & documentation using MS Office suites, Jobber and Bluebeam
  • Communicate with internal and external vendors to maintain inventory & supplies
  • Nurture client relationships and uncover opportunities for additional client support
  • Clean and apply concrete sealers and coatings
  • Review growth opportunities in existing and future markets
  • Effectively document safety protocol for job & client management while training internal employees
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating fleet.

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in a business-related field is an asset, preferably with 1-2 years of relevant work experience post graduation. Candidates with equivalent work experience but no post secondary education will be considered.
  • Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License with clean drivers abstract.

Hours

Full Time. hours of work will depend on the needs of the business.

Work Environment

This role is 80% in the field and 20% in office, this position will include trips to the warehouse or site locations whenever needed.
