The Opportunity
Leavitt Machinery is looking for a reliable
Branch/Shop
Labourer
to join our team in
Kamloops, British Columbia
. As the Branch/Shop Labourer, you will be responsible for the physical movement and documentation of rental equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Labourer your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing rental equipment
  • Washing, fueling, and thoroughly inspecting rental units upon check-in
  • Completing detailed inspection reports and communicating any found issues to the Rental team and Technicians
  • Handling freight documents and administrative tasks
  • Loading and unloading machines
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Performing minor equipment repairs as guided by team members

Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment and/or prior mechanical experience is considered a strong asset
  • High school diploma and valid driver's license required
  • Ability to safely lift at least 40 pounds
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable team player with a strong work ethic

The base pay range for this role is: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
