Role Overview

The Manager, Corporate Partnerships, will lead all partnerships for JAM Sports, building winning relationships with internal brands, local businesses, and players. The Manager will design the partnership playbook to boost partnership revenues, enhance the player experience and deliver true ROI for our partners.

This is a role for someone who loves both the business and community of sport, driving revenue growth while keeping JAM's culture of fun, fitness, and fair play at the heart of every deal.

Key Responsibilities

Game Plan & Strategy

  • Draft and execute the annual partnership playbook with clear revenue and engagement goals.
  • Create proposals that tie together partner activations such as league or facility naming rights, jersey branding, event activations, and onsite sampling.
  • Scout new opportunities in corporate wellness and community sports programs to bring more players into the JAM community.

Scoring New Partnerships

  • Act as JAM's lead recruiter to secure new partners.
  • Build and pitch partnership proposals that are win-win-win: for JAM, the brand and our players.
  • Deliver measurable ROI so JAM partners feel they are getting a championship-level return.

Relationship Coaching

  • Lead all partner relationships, making sure commitments are fulfilled and value is delivered.
  • Build long-term partnerships with high renewal and satisfaction rates.
  • Run quarterly partnership reviews to showcase results and plan the next season of activations.

Teamwork & Execution

  • Work with JAM's marketing team to design eye-catching activations that grab the attention of JAM players.
  • Work with JAM's operations and customer experience teams to seamlessly deliver partnership benefits.
  • Own the details: contracts, compliance, invoicing, and reporting.

Skills & Experience Needed

  • 3+ years in partnerships, sponsorships or business development (sports, recreation, lifestyle industries are a bonus).
  • A proven closer - track record of landing big-ticket deals and managing long-term accounts.
  • A strong network in brand, agency, and corporate wellness circles.

  • Data-driven, with the ability to keep score and present results clearly.
