The OpportunityRonald McDonald House Canada is seeking a Manager, Corporate Partnerships to drive the growth of long-term, sustainable partnerships with corporate Canada - helping keep families close during their child's healthcare journey. This strategic and relationship-driven leader will be responsible for growing and stewarding revenue from national corporate partners, supporting a network of 12 Ronald McDonald House Regional Chapters across Canada. Reporting to the Director, National Partnerships and Development, the Partnerships Development Lead will oversee an active $1.5M portfolio of existing partners while developing and managing a strategic pipeline of new opportunities to grow the portfolio to $3.5M+ in the next 3 years. Balancing strategic leadership with hands-on relationship management, this role ensures both high-level growth and day-to-day excellence in partner engagement and stewardship. As a champion of Ronald McDonald House Canada's mission, the Partnerships Development Lead works cross-functionally and collaboratively to design innovative programs, deliver meaningful donor journeys, and lead national stewardship efforts - ensuring a unified and impactful experience across Ronald McDonald House Canada's federated network.
DutiesIn addition to following McDonald's Canada's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Partnership Strategy & Pipeline Development:
- Serve as a senior member of the National Partnerships and Development Team, playing a key role in developing and executing Ronald McDonald - - House Canada's corporate partnership strategy, aligning with organizational priorities and revenue goals.
- Build and strategically manage a robust pipeline of prospective partners, identifying, qualifying and cultivating new opportunities for national engagement and investment.
- Analyze market trends and partnership performance to inform strategic decision-making and optimize growth.
Portfolio Management & Revenue Growth:
- Manage a portfolio of national corporate partners contributing over $1.5M annually, ensuring strong stewardship, retention, and growth.
- Develop customized proposals and engagement plans for prospects and partners, aligning their business objectives with Ronald McDonald House Canada's mission, need and impact.
Donor Stewardship & Engagement
- Design and deliver meaningful donor journeys that deepen partner engagement and demonstrate impact.
- Lead national stewardship initiatives, including recognition programs, impact reporting, and partner communications.
- Lead and direct national and shared stewardship efforts across the Ronald McDonald House Canada network, ensuring a unified and impactful donor journey and consistent donor experience.
- Support the planning and execution of Ronald McDonald House Canada's national fundraising event (e.g., The Great Games Challenge) and other stakeholder engagement events as required in partnership with the Manager, Partner Activation & Stakeholder Engagement.
- Represent Ronald McDonald House Canada at partner meetings, industry events, and public forums as a brand ambassador.
Cross Functional Collaboration & Program Innovation
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Integrated Brand, Programs & Insights) to co-create innovative partnership activations and campaigns.
- Support the development of cause marketing, employee engagement, and sponsorship initiatives that drive revenue and awareness.
- Act as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders on partnership trends, opportunities, and best practices.
Measurement & Reporting
- Track and report on partnership performance, pipeline progress, and revenue outcomes.
- Use data and insights to continuously improve partnership strategies and donor experiences.
- Adhere to ethical fundraising standards (AFP, Imagine Canada) and Ronald McDonald House Canada policies, including the Prospect Clearance Process.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFRE) are considered assets.
Experience: 5–10 years of progressive experience in fundraising, development, or corporate partnerships, ideally within the nonprofit or social impact sector. Experience working within a federated or multi-stakeholder model is an asset.
Strategic Fundraising Expertise: Deep understanding of the Canadian philanthropic landscape, with a focus on corporate giving, cause marketing, and mission-driven partnerships. Proven success in securing and growing revenue through strategic donor engagement.
Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with corporate donors and stakeholders. Skilled in developing customized stewardship plans and donor journeys that drive retention and impact.
Communication & Storytelling: Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to translate RMHC's mission into compelling partnership opportunities. Experience collaborating with marketing teams to develop donor-facing materials and campaigns.
Leadership & Collaboration: A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment. Able to influence and inspire internal and external stakeholders through connection, alignment, and shared purpose.
Mission Alignment: Deep commitment to Ronald McDonald House Canada's mission, with a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of families with seriously ill and injured children.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using fundraising CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual collaboration tools. Skilled in data tracking, reporting, and donor analytics.
The expected salary range for this role is $89,599 - $127,998 per year
