Accounts Payable Administrator
Penn-co Construction is a leading construction company currently hiring an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team in Steinbach, MB. The Accounts Payable Administrator will work closely with the Accounting Department to support timely and accurate financial results. The ideal candidate brings accuracy, initiative, and strong problem-solving abilities to their work. Penn-co offers an excellent benefits package and a competitive hourly rate. Responsibilities
Accurately process vendor invoices and maintain up-to-date accounts payable records
Manage monthly corporate credit card processing and reconciliations
Prepare accounts payable cheques and online payments in a timely and organized manner
Research, troubleshoot, and resolve accounts payable issues or discrepancies
Provide professional support and clear communication to internal teams and external vendors
Ensure proper approvals, documentation, and accurate expense coding
Support ongoing improvements to enhance the efficiency of the accounts payable process
Assist the Accounting team with various projects and tasks
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required
Qualifications
Previous accounts payable, administrative, or accounting experience, or a diploma/certificate/degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to research issues, analyze information, and propose solutions
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
